Organic Elderberry Syrup
Ingredients: Organic Elderberries (Sambucus nigra), pure spring water, wildflower honey, & organic cane alcohol.
Due to its tasty flavor and amazing immune boosting benefits, Elderberry has long been a folk remedy across North America, Europe, Western Asia and North Africa. Elderberry contains amino acids, carotenoids, flavonoids, sugar, rutin, viburnic acid, vitamin A and B, and a large amount of vitamin C. The flavonoids in Elderberry include quercetin which are thought to have therapeutic properties, and anthocyanins which are powerful antioxidants. Elderberry syrup can be consumed on its own or in a tea, and is a great addition to pancakes, tonics, smoothies, or bubbly water (soda).
Suggested use: 1 teaspoon on its own or in a warming cup of tea.
