Cinnabar

Used for centuries to create vermilion pigments and dyes, Cinnabar has a deep and storied history. Used across the Eurasian land mass, from China to ancient Rome, Cinnabar has gone by many names, and been used for many applications. A mercury sulfide, it is still mined today for mercury production. Metaphysically, it is a stone for creativity, vitality, and actualization.

Be sure to handle this stone with care, do not ingest, do not mix with liquids for elixirs or tinctures. Wash hands after handling.

High quality tumbled Cinnabar.
